I’m Jessica, an independent designer based in Palmerston North. I have over 18 years of experience working in advertising, branding agencies and independently. I work remotely with clients and agencies around the world. I see my job as a simple one: to get you seen, heard, and remembered. Whether it's new branding or refreshing a logo, print or digital design, websites, or illustrations, let me take you under my wing to bring focus, clarity, and life to your company.

The bird is the word
What's in a name?
A little birdie told me you’re curious about the name Fat Bird Creative. Well, I’m from Aotearoa, New Zealand (The Land of the Long White Cloud) where almost all our native animals are birds. My favorite? The fantail—a cheeky, round little bird that never lets its size hold it back.
It also felt fitting that, according to Urban Dictionary, Fat Bird is a phrase used to spark reactions and shift the balance of positivity. And that’s exactly what I love to do—shake things up, bring fresh energy, and hatch something amazing together!

Finalising
Once finalised and the payment is complete, we will send you all final files or, for digital and website projects, make your project live. Everything will be set to take off in style!
