Rogue Salad Co. is a bold, health-forward restaurant based in Medford, Oregon, founded by restaurateurs Erica and Karen. Their mission? To fuel people’s lives with fresh, locally sourced food that fits into fast-paced, adventure-filled lifestyles. With a menu of salads, wraps, soups, smoothies, and juices tailored to diverse dietary needs, Rogue Salad Co. empowers their community to eat well and live fully.
Whetstone Creative and Fat Bird Creative worked together to bring this inspiring vision to life online and in print. Rogue Salad Co. came to us in their early days with a clear message and a unique brand personality. What they needed was a cohesive design system to match their ambition and help them grow.

Through our ongoing work with Rogue Salad Co. we have delivered full digital and print solutions that helped position Rogue Salad Co. as a go-to destination for wholesome food with flair. We developed a custom 5-page website with integrated SEO, custom CSS and a fun, energetic layout that echoes the "go rogue" lifestyle. This included handwritten-style fonts for a personal touch, arrows to create movement and visual interest, and a brand pattern that nods to outdoor adventure.
But our work didn’t stop online. We designed high-impact menu boards, take-out flyers, window vinyls, and gift vouchers. Each carefully aligned with the Rogue brand identity.
Since opening in 2023:
Rogue Salad Co. has grown their menu and expanded their offerings.
They won the 2024 Best of Southern Oregon: Lunch Category, and have been nominated again in 2025.
They opened a second location in 2025.
Their website has seen 136,000+ visits, with over 100,000 unique visitors and a 75% increase in traffic year-over-year.
Rogue Salad Co. continues to grow (both in reputation and reach), proving that good design and clear messaging can go a long way when paired with purpose-driven food and a passionate team.
